Meet Pam Duffy
Years at Kids-R-It: Since May of 1994
Education and Experience:
Favorite Part of Working with the Children at Kids-R-It: The children are our gift to love and educate. Watching them blossom and learn is a gratifying process. From singing songs with actions to the infants; then as a Toddler their language develops and they can sing that song with the actions - along with learning boundaries and routines. I enjoy seeing that child become a Preschooler where they put all this together and continue advancing on all their skills. The dedication by the staff using our curriculum and training pulls this together for the children. Seeing the joy and pride on the parent's face when their child does sign language, performs in our special programs, and at their child's conferences is very touching. |
What is my favorite part of being Director?
One of the greatest joys is to have the children of the children we cared for years ago coming. The parents now tell us they felt safe and at home at KRI when they were here and they want their children to as well.
My Staff:
The commitment and longevity of staff has made KR! successful.
I'm proud of all the staff in the amount of Professional Development they do in the Parent Aware KCF courses to keep up to date with early childhood trends and needs. Some staff are taking advantage of the paid access to obtain their CDA- Child Development Associates degree or certificate also.
Their professionalism and commitment to Early Childhood has provided Kids-R-lt a great foundation of knowledge to teach all the children in our care. From nurturing, to educating, they create a healthy environment for the children, parents, and their co-workers.
