Mayra joined Kids-R-It in 2022! Sadly, she moved. Then, Surprise, she blessed us by returning to Worthington and rejoined us again in 2023!
She gives such gentleness and calmness to our Infants. Her teaching style in reading, talking, and the activities offers security by using simple visual and physical strategies for each child’s learning stage.
I am so proud of Mayra’s desire to do the most she can for the Infants. Mayra joined the Empower to Educate program and is currently obtaining her CDA-Child Development Associates Credential. She also attended the 2-day First Kids’ Conference in 2024 and has incorporated many teaching strategies into the children’s daily routines. Putting her training into action with the infants shows their growth in many domain areas. The joy and rewards are seeing the infants reach their next milestones!
