Favorite Part of Working with the Children at Kids-R-It: My favorite part about working at Kids-R-It is watching and helping them grow into their own individual selves. I enjoy working with and around kids because every day is a new opportunity to help them grow and learn. A child’s early years are the foundation for their future development and success. More About Me: My world outside of work is dedicated to my three children at home. |

Note from Director Pam About Kristy's Commitment:
Kristy has blessed Kids-R-It for 17+ years! In 2007, she began as an amazing Preschool teacher! Kristy, Melissa, and Terrany, were a wonderful team and amazing with the kids. Kristy runs a tight ship, and the children and teachers alike knew exactly what she expected for a smooth, organized, fun, and successful classroom.

In 2013, Kristy took over our Nutritionist position. She obtained her St. of MN Dept. of Health Food Managers license and has worked diligently to learn and master Nutrition, Healthiness, and Sanitation. She consistently receives excellent site reviews from the State Sanitarian along with the State CACFP site reviewers stating, “she knows what she is doing and is excellent at her job”. She has over 250 hours in Early Childhood courses, 1st Aid/CPR certified, plus 2 years in Juvenile Criminal Justice courses.
Beyond Kristy’s fun and delicious meals for all of our children and staff, she participated in the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) Campaign competition - - having the children do a project from my-plate, a bulletin board display, and The Ultimate Over the Rainbow Yogurt Snack!! Kristy’s dedication at Kids-R-It goes well beyond the cafeteria! She is respected, and a valuable asset in program improvements and Nutrition, Health, & Safety. Great work Kristy!! |
